Dr. Kyle Snyder is a board certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine Physician and is a member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA).
Dr. Snyder understands that every patient is a unique individual and he develops individualized treatment plans tailored to those unique needs. His expertise and training allows for a targeted approach that treats the source of pain, not symptoms. His approach utilizes a wide range of advanced interventional pain therapies, neuromodulation, and percutaneous spine procedures.
His publications include articles featured in both the Journal of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine. He has presented novel work on numerous occasions including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Tennessee Pain Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain annual conferences.
Dr. Snyder is originally from Maryville and much of his education has remained close to home. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee, receiving magna cum laude honors in biochemistry and neuroscience. He completed medical school at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine where he was selected for the Interprofessional Education Board. He returned to Knoxville to complete Anesthesiology Residency with the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine and then completed the esteemed Comprehensive Pain and Spine Fellowship at Wake Forest University. Dr. Snyder was delighted to return to Knoxville and contribute his in-depth training and expertise to the phenomenal team at Neurosurgical Associates
